The role of Information Security Manager is responsible for information security risk management processes within the Brazil Foods region, including security risk analysis, incident management, and compliance with data protection regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to engage business functions on information security matters and gain buy-in;
- Oversee the successful implementation of agreed-upon exceptions remediation plans and timelines;
- Collaborate with IT and project teams to ensure security requirements' funding estimates for CAPEX/Projects;
- Support Third-Party Security Risk Management team on assessments, issues, escalations, and remediation;
- Assist in the delivery of Cyber Security program initiatives within regions through InfoSec PMO and Compliance Lead alignment;
- Participate in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards;
- Provide guidance and support to employees on information security best practices and awareness;
- Manage and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, threats, and emerging technologies related to information security;
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration;
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential security threats;
- Identify, report, and mitigate security incidents and breaches in accordance with established procedures;
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and changes, ensuring the organization remains compliant;
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on risk management, compliance, and incident response;
- CISM, CISSP, or equivalent certifications desirable;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
- Advanced English language proficiency;
- Familiarity with ITIL and Project Management methodologies;
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001);
