Accelerated Sales Program

White Cap is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our Accelerated Sales Program. This comprehensive training program is designed to fast-track the growth and development of new Outside Sales Representatives/Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap's business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.
  • Prepare and execute account plans.
  • Sell White Cap's value proposition and products.
  • Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
  • Enter and process customer orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members.
  • Requires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.
  • Competitive nature with a drive to succeed.
  • Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics.
  • Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • This position's targeted base salary of $60,000 per year. This role is eligible for additional variable compensation with a starting target of $80,000 per year. Compensation will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data.
