We are seeking a seasoned product management professional to spearhead the success of our smart System on Chip (SoC) product line across Latin America. This role involves end-to-end product lifecycle management, from concept and market analysis to launch, growth, and end-of-life, while aligning with customer needs and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with local sales teams, distributors, HQ, and ecosystem partners to promote products, win new projects, and ensure competitive positioning in the market.
- Combine technical knowledge of SoC technologies with strategic product management expertise to achieve significant sales growth and deliver solutions that meet evolving customer and market demands.
- Work closely with the HQ team and other supporting teams to evaluate customers' project requirements and prepare proposals with the sales team to design and win new projects.
- Manage the product lifecycle end-to-end, including evaluation, initialization, development, NPI, MP, EOL management, and training for local sales and distributors.
- Monitor market, customer, and competitor insights; define requirements for new products to fit market needs; analyze performance and cost competitiveness and provide input for internal product strategies and roadmaps.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with SoCs (Qualcomm, MTK, NXP, Nvidia, Rockchip, TI, Broadcom, etc.) and experience in SoC-based mobile phones, tablet computers, SBCs, and various cellular communication IoT devices.
- Experience with ODM in the IoT industry is a strong asset.
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel in LATAM countries.
- 3–5 years of software or hardware development experience.
- More than 3 years of project or product management experience.
Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, electronics, computer science, or related majors.
