We are seeking a Deskside Technician specializing in Expense Management who is eager to learn and advance their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete management of PC leasing schedules.
  • Coordinate warranty and non-warranty hardware repairs with manufacturers.
  • Maintain operating systems through patching and upgrades.
  • Address PC vulnerability mitigation issues via remote support or onsite visits.
  • Triage and resolve end-user tickets efficiently.
  • Provide hands-on telepresence support.
  • Assist with PC configuration support.
  • Help configure and test new hardware and software solutions.
  • Install operating systems, updates, applications, and other software according to customer specifications.
  • Track computer assets by location using asset tags and serial numbers.
  • Manage the shipping and receiving of materials and equipment.
  • Provide support for executive staff.
  • Assist lab technicians in collaboration with software/hardware vendors and security teams on installations, reinstalls, vulnerability mitigation, patching, and upgrades.
  • Install, replace, or remove equipment such as routers, servers, switches, disk drives, memory, and printers.
  • Troubleshoot equipment using local KVM or PC, following detailed instructions and relaying system responses.
  • Be available for off-hours or weekend support during critical incidents.
  • Willingness to travel to remote sites for urgent issue resolution.
  • Ability to work with ladders up to 6 feet high.
  • Drive to other customer locations as needed for support.
  • Manage expense oversight related to PC leasing, mobile phones, printer expenses, and PC accessories, including:
    • Creating purchase requisitions for IT vendors.
    • Collaborating with vendors for invoice payments and reconciliations.
    • Working with finance on user chargebacks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware.
  • Familiarity with SCCM/Intune.
  • Technical expertise in current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
  • Capability to read and comprehend technical manuals and procedural documentation.
  • Experience with PC imaging.
  • Understanding of expense management processes in SAP.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English.
