As a seasoned fleet manager, you will be responsible for leading a team that delivers exceptional results in managing company vehicles. Your expertise in strategic planning, team leadership, and operational management will drive the success of our fleet operations.

  • Develop a comprehensive plan to enhance departmental efficiency and suggest improvements in products, processes, and procedures.
  • Lead the definition, structuring, and maintenance of our overall fleet performance strategy, focusing on unification, simplification, and cost reduction.
  • Maintain and update policies according to changing times and industry best practices.
  • Focus on achieving company goals of decreasing vehicle emissions through the use of alternate fuels and electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on all program(s) deliverables within terms and conditions of contract and business case.
  • Administer fleet workflow processes, including assisting employees and reviewing workflow form requests for assignments, reassignments, and/or terminations of fleet vehicles.
  • Facilitate the return of vehicles with managers and human resources upon driver departure from the fleet program.
  • Proactively understand the needs of the fleet, coordinate with supervisors on proper vehicle orders, upfitting standards, and quantities.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Prior hands-on product experience and orientation.
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
