Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for growing our institutional custody and global markets business, and helping to drive brand awareness in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deepen relationships with key partners, such as service providers and intermediaries, to drive new revenue streams.
- Strategize and execute on business development plans for market penetration, and collect market feedback and intelligence.
- Collaborate with the broader Business team to further improve operational excellence and work on ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Keep track of key news in the digital asset ecosystem and proactively identify new business development and partnership opportunities.
- 3-7 years of sales, business development, or partnership experience working with institutional clients.
- Experience in both traditional financial services and digital assets from high-performing teams and institutions.
- Experience with prime brokerage products, such as custody, and trading.
- Understanding of the requirements to successfully operate within a regulated financial institution.
- Ability to negotiate and create relationships with both Web 2 and Web 3 institutions.
- Ability to operate and excel in a fast-paced and often ambiguous, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in written and verbal English language required, with additional local language skill an advantage.
