Compliance Manager Job Description

Job Description:

The Compliance Manager will lead all aspects of our compliance program across the region, driving leadership engagement and strategic risk management. Key responsibilities include understanding business operations, designing and implementing compliance strategies, collaborating with leadership teams and stakeholders to drive engagement and culture, and ensuring effective operation of compliance controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compliance strategies for the Latin America Power business
  • Collaborate with leadership teams and stakeholders to drive engagement and culture
  • Ensure effective operation of compliance controls
  • Support execution of commercial focused compliance through third party due diligence risk management
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments for the Latin America region
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Strong motivation to work in compliance
  • Ability to indirectly lead teams and projects
  • Ability to work with and influence all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Interview and investigative skills
  • Ability to locate and analyze facts to determine relevance
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in legal, compliance, or audit
  • Effective command of English, Portuguese, and Spanish languages
  • Credible compliance ambassador with ability to influence and drive Compliance culture globally
  • Pragmatic, action-oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
