Production Quality Lead

The Quality Engineer will lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction by reducing internal non-conformances and minimizing returns.
This role also involves developing quality engineering and assurance personnel through mentoring, skill development, and knowledge transfer programs.
Key Responsibilities- Apply advanced Quality and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize non-conformances and prevent product returns.
- Develop a corrective and preventative program to reduce scrap and rework.
- Support operator and inspector training requirements.
- Mentor and assist with quality engineering development needs.
- Process customer returns through the material review process.
- Conduct internal audits and track corrective action follow-up against internal and customer quality system requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend product evaluation equipment and provide relevant training for personnel.
- Develop and maintain Quality Program Procedures and Work Instructions and deliver training to applicable personnel.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Showcase experience in analyzing and resolving parts and process issues.
- Possess working knowledge of Quality Assurance standards.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpret contractual and specification requirements.
- Display self-motivated leadership skills with ability to drive continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate well with employees and customers alike.
- Maintain high level of motivation and sense of urgency.
- Achieve intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and adjust priorities.
