Maximizing Freight Revenue Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned account manager to join our team, responsible for maximizing revenue per truck and meeting diverse driver profiles' needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities. They will be fluent in English and Portuguese and possess previous experience as an account manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute strategies to optimize revenue and productivity.
- Negotiate rates with freight brokers to secure competitive options.
- Monitor drivers' activities to ensure optimal service hours usage.
- Balance home time requests with operational billing needs.
- Communicate daily with drivers to enhance productivity and reduce turnover.
- Track cargo from dispatch to delivery resolving any issues.
- Complete documentation and monitor driver progress ensuring required documentation is attached for billing.
- Update load information from pickup to delivery into the platform.
- Establish and maintain relationships with freight brokers.
- Monitor fleet and revenue performance indicators.
- Plan weekly strategy with customers.
Key Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Assertive communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Resilient and persistent dealing with different profiles.
- Commercial skills working with aggressive goals.
- Previous experience as an account manager.
