The e-commerce transaction landscape has witnessed exponential growth over the years. In this role, you will focus on addressing a concern that escalates in tandem with online transactions: FRAUD. We believe that the true challenge lies not merely in preventing fraudulent transactions but in identifying suspicious activities while maintaining high approval rates for our Merchants. There is no merit in having stable fraud metrics if it compromises our operations. We bear the responsibility of being precise in our strategies, which is why we seek an individual with prior experience in Fraud Prevention, coupled with a customer-centric and data-driven mindset. We are a rapidly expanding payment processing firm with a robust presence in Latin and Central America, and we are looking for a Chargeback Analyst to join our Fraud Prevention Team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Adopting a customer-centric approach for Enterprise Merchants; Actively monitoring chargeback KPIs and overall performance; Managing the entire chargeback process (from notification to dispute resolution); Identifying offenders and opportunities, and devising strategies to address and rectify issues; Contributing innovative ideas and insights that will enhance the business.Key qualifications for this role:
Understanding of the chargeback process; A strong desire for self-improvement; discomfort with the comfort zone, guided by a test-learn methodology; Familiarity with dashboard tools; while there is no specific preference, Tableau is the official tool of the company; Knowledge of the payment industry and familiarity with key players in the credit card transaction ecosystem; Proficiency in SQL (including table joins and aggregation functions) for data extraction and analysis; Advanced to fluent English proficiency; as a multinational company, you will frequently communicate in English for emails and meetings; Respect for diverse cultures and beliefs, with an open mindset.Additional qualities we value:
Knowledge of statistical fundamentals to guide your data analysis, including hypothesis testing, backtesting rules, and relative risk; Excellent communication skills and a quick learning ability; Familiarity with chargeback rates and card scheme programs; Fluency in Spanish is also appreciated.EBANX provides:
