The Senior Controller plays a vital role in driving business performance and operational efficiency. This individual will provide leadership to one of the North America sites, focusing on financial management, reporting, and forecasting.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Drive financial performance management, including monthly closing, ad-hoc reporting/analytics, monthly forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Leverage new reporting and forecasting tools to improve insights and streamline existing processes.
- Prepare cost accounting analysis and maintain strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead annual standard costing updates for the site.
- Identify savings opportunities and optimize return on investment, enhance financial processes through automation and redesign.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain teams across North America.
- Support capital investments to ensure optimal return on investment.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance and/or accounting. They should also demonstrate strong change management skills, leadership capability, and understanding of accounting concepts and practices.
