We are seeking a results-driven and creative Key Territory Development Manager to join our team in Emerging Markets. As a Key Territory Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing an assigned territory to achieve sales and KPI targets, maintain brand standards, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Your key responsibilities as a Key Territory Development Manager will include:
• Setting and achieving short and long-range forecasts and goals for the territory
• Ensuring sales and KPI goals, budgets, and objectives for each store in the territory, and communicating this to store managers and partners
• Developing individual action plans for each store to meet stated goals/KPIs
• Tracking retail efforts and measuring compliance and results for each store
• Meeting regularly with partners, dealers, and store management/staff to review results, provide training, and develop plans to achieve goals
• Utilizing the KPI and Pandora Listens program for ongoing feedback and improvement
• Coaching partners and store staff in the PANDORA conversation, product knowledge, company background, and LINK tools, and ensuring compliance with training objectives
• Reviewing the weekly newsletter to the stores, marketing campaigns, and implementation
• Prospecting for, proposing, and opening new stores/accounts in the territory within the new store development process
• Upgrading stores to higher store classes to improve brand image and increase sales potential
• Monitoring and helping manage inventory levels at each store to optimize sell-in and sell-out
• Reviewing accurate and organized information and reporting on each store and for the total territory
• Collecting retail sell-in and sell-out data from each account and reporting to Corporate
• Assessing and reporting on dealer compliance
• Creating, implementing, and monitoring corrective action plans.
• Optimizing the network in defined territory by evaluating dealers and collaborating with the Regional Manager to close, upgrade, and open accounts to maintain the best mix of accounts to maximize sales potential of the territory.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Proven experience in retail (Jewelry, Luxury Goods, Fashion, or Gift industry preferred)
• 3-5 years proven sales experience, multi-account experience
• Highly confident, self-assured individual who is able to work autonomously
• Strong business acumen including experience working with KPIs and other performance metrics
• Highly organized and ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities
• Ability to work well with all levels of management, build partnerships, and direct teams
• Must be self-motivated and driven toward achievement of long-term goals
• Must be able to develop, work against, and meet tight and aggressive deadlines and goals
Travel Required: 70% - 75%
