Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description

RAPP is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our award-winning Technology team. This role involves carrying out quality assurance efforts for various marketing deliverables, including emails, websites, landing pages, and display ads.

The ideal candidate will work closely with QA team members, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute thorough testing approaches to ensure digital deliverables render and function correctly across prominent desktop and mobile platforms.

This person may also be responsible for proofreading creative outputs, producing great work in a fast-paced environment, often with short turnaround times, and helping other QA team members do the same.

The Quality Assurance Specialist executes QA solutions for various types of projects, utilizing general best practices and client-specific expertise. They write test plans and test cases, working with project stakeholders to ensure the integrity of the testing approach.

They review and provide feedback on digital project reference materials, including UX/wireframes, URL matrices, and creative documents. If needed, they proofread and edit creative outputs (layouts, copy decks, etc.) for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand and style guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related field
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
