Job Summary
The Sales Consultant will be responsible for performing various sales-related functions, including planning, organizing, and controlling the operation and activities of the work unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to meet sales targets and objectives.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to sales consultants on product knowledge and selling skills.
- Conduct presentations and meetings with corporate clients to promote products and services.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the finance department and ancillary business officer to process financing and insurance coverage for customers.
- Undertake selling activities unilaterally or in support of sales consultants.
- Develop and implement promotional activities and participate in special projects.
- Provide data on competitor activities and submit reports to superiors.
- Monitor the acceptability of delivery of automotive units to customers.
- Entertain customer complaints and concerns, providing immediate remedial action or referring to superiors.
- Monitor the physical configuration, cleanliness, and order of the showroom and the professional external projection of sales consultants.
- Undertake technical screening and interview of applicants for sales consultants and prepare recommendations.
- Attend training programs and learning sessions to enhance professional and technical proficiencies.
- Consolidate performance reports of sales consultants and submit summary reports with analysis and recommendations.
- Participate in collegial planning for policies, procedures, and systems, problem solving, decision making, and performance monitoring.
- Supervise and control planned and intervening activities of subordinate officers and employees.
Requirements
- Sales Consultant experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
