In this position, you will collaborate closely with our Sales and Customer Success Management teams to deliver technical solutions tailored for both prospective and existing clients. Your primary responsibility will be to design solutions that effectively address and resolve a client's business challenges while instilling confidence in our technology platform and alleviating any technical concerns throughout the sales process.

Our Sales Engineers play a pivotal role in the customer engagement lifecycle, significantly contributing to pipeline development by supporting marketing initiatives, content creation, and events. The ideal candidate will adopt a consultative sales approach and recognize the importance of teamwork. This role is vital to the success of our Sales organization, as it articulates and demonstrates how we provide cost-effective solutions that deliver substantial business value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Grasp a client's objectives and challenges, clarifying how we can enhance their architecture. Design, develop, and present customized demonstrations and presentations that highlight key business benefits for our prospects. Assume technical ownership of the sales opportunity, addressing objections and managing various aspects of the sales cycle. Manage multiple customer engagements concurrently. Research, scope, and respond to customer RFIs and RFPs, proactively sharing outcomes with team members. Collaborate with Partners and engage with MicroStrategy Partners to identify and define joint opportunities. Stay informed about our demo content and product positioning, adopting changes promptly into our offerings. Confidently present and articulate the business value of the MicroStrategy platform at all levels within the client's organization. Continuously learn and develop expertise in MicroStrategy software through training sessions and independent work assignments, leveraging this knowledge to gain proficiency in new releases.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of robust experience in a similar Sales Engineer (Pre-sales) role, supporting sales cycles for Business Intelligence or other high-value business solutions. Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, SAP Analytics Cloud, Quick Sight, Business Objects, Cognos, Looker). Specific experience with MicroStrategy is highly advantageous. General understanding of AI and prompt engineering. Proficient in SQL. Knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing, ETL, web services, and SaaS technologies. Experience in SaaS and Cloud-based selling with major Hyperscale providers (AWS, GCP, Azure). Strong verbal and written communication skills focused on requirement gathering, positioning, and identifying business value. Advanced oral and written communication skills in English.
