The Commercial Director oversees sales operations in the eastern Latin America markets. This role involves managing a sales team, developing market strategies, and meeting sales targets.
Reporting to the Vice President, Americas, this position is part of the Commercial Team located in São Paulo, Brazil, and will be on-site.
This role offers a unique opportunity to create and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with overall company goals and identify market opportunities.

- Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives by setting clear expectations and coaching on advanced sales techniques.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively addressing their concerns.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the direct and indirect markets.
- Accurately forecast sales performance and monitor key metrics.
- Negotiate deals with customers to ensure profitable pricing strategies and manage complex sales cycles effectively.
- Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and support commercial initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members across the greater American regions.
- Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams, exceeding sales targets, and coaching sales representatives to achieve optimal performance.
- Deep knowledge of the Latin America business landscape and life sciences industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain robust customer relationships at all levels.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers to close deals and achieve favorable terms.
- Inspirational leadership skills to foster a positive work environment and promote collaboration.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
- Possess or can obtain a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
