Job Title: Energy Management System Specialist

Come and transform your career with us. We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Energy Management System (EMS) Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the implementation, operation, and optimization of EMS platforms supporting power generation and transmission networks. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of transmission/generation system operations and experience in EMS platforms.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Implementing, configuring, and maintaining EMS platforms for real-time monitoring and control of generation units and transmission assets.
  • Supporting generation control, frequency, and voltage regulation through EMS functionalities.
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on EMS software to generation and transmission environments.
  • Acting as a liaison between clients and the EMS development team to ensure that customizations/applications follow technical specifications.
  • Providing technical support and training to operational and engineering teams.
  • Validating EMS data models.
  • Collaborating with SCADA system teams for proper integration.
  • Adjusting network and generation applications in runtime.
  • Creating valid DTS (Dispatcher Training Simulator) models and testing DTS events with customers.
  • Analyzing operational data to identify opportunities for optimizing generation dispatch, transmission flows, and system efficiency.
  • Providing support to project teams by assisting with troubleshooting, application data modeling, and implementing effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or related field.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Proven experience in EMS platforms (GE products).
  • Strong understanding of transmission/generation system operations.
