Position Overview
As the Mining Solutions Executive, you will be instrumental in fostering new business development in the LATAM market. Utilizing your comprehensive sales expertise and mining sector connections, you will uncover new prospects, cultivate robust relationships, and provide customized solutions for our product, Micromine Alastri.
Micromine Alastri is a cohesive, intelligent, and user-friendly solution for open-pit mine planning.
Reporting to the Regional Manager for the Americas, your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Overseeing the complete sales cycle, which includes prospecting (cold outreach), qualifying leads, nurturing potential clients, showcasing solutions, addressing objections, and finalizing agreements.
- Identifying and pursuing fresh business prospects within the mining sector for Micromine Alastri.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in mining engineering, with experience in mine planning and scheduling specifically related to Iron Ore projects.
Essential skills, experience, and qualifications include:
- Familiarity with mine planning software and solutions.
- Experience in open-pit mining operations.
- Proven track record in sales and business development, particularly in generating new business.
- Proficiency in delivering presentations or public speaking engagements.
- Strong skills in prospecting and lead qualification.
- A degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in English.
