Job Overview

The Regional Product Management position is responsible for driving profitable market share growth and developing strategic regional business plans.

  • Business Growth Strategy:
    • Develop and execute regional business strategies to drive market share growth.
    • Identify and drive actions to achieve financial targets.
    • Support new product development activities.
  • Regional Product Line Reporting:
    • Provide in-depth analysis and insights to the management team on product line performance.
    • Offer funnel health, win/loss analysis, areas of growth, risk to plan achievement, changes in market dynamics, etc.
  • Competitor and Market Assessment:
    • Capture, analyze, and present competitor and market data.
    • Provide recommendations and action plans for competitive responses.
  • Strategic and Product Planning:
    • Support the development of the annual strategic plan.
    • Identify new growth opportunities and drive growth for targeted segments using data collected through VOC collection and financial, market, and pricing analysis.
  • New Product Development:
    • Represent the region in global processes.
    • Drive growth for targeted segments using data collected through VOC collection and financial, market, and pricing analysis.
  • Pricing and Margin:
    • Drive local pricing, product mix, and margin efforts to achieve annual targets.
  • Forecasting/Planning:
    • Provide visibility to the manufacturing/ops teams of expected product sales trend changes.
    • Manage product lifecycle and execute End of Life (EOL) programs.
  • Commercialization:
    • Lead new product launches and drive revenue achievement for the region.

Key Qualifications
  • Strong business acumen with ability to drive business growth.
  • Utilize continuous improvement tools to drive growth for the portfolio.
  • Influence indirect teams and drive cross-functional teams toward a common goal through consensus.
  • Multitask and prioritize deliverables.
  • Understand packaging industry and market dynamics to translate product features and benefits into targeted value propositions.
  • Communicate effectively to drive local view into global strategy, provide effective training, and articulate customer pain points.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical field with Marketing. MBA preferred. Minimum 5 years product management experience in Latin America or similar customer-facing roles with technical products. Strong marketing, financial, and analytical capability; high level of computer literacy with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Solid understanding of coding is a plus. English and Spanish language skills required. Travel required 30-40% of the time.
