Global Compensation Strategist

We're at the threshold of a borderless world, yet most people lack the tools to engage in critical high-trust services. Our work is centered on addressing this gap by building an identity data protocol that surfaces merits in the form of legal, financial, and work data.

Our mission is to help unlock borderless growth, and we're looking for a Global Compensation Strategist to join our team. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining compensation strategies and structures to attract and retain employees while meeting compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience building compensation programs, preferably in domestic and international markets. Experience with startup equity plans, sales compensation structure, and global compensation practices is strongly preferred.

This role requires strong partnership and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate with other stakeholders. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of compensation fundamentals, including job matching and market pricing, equity practices and mechanics, cyclical programs, and incentive program design.

  • Design and implement compensation base pay and incentive programs globally.
  • Lead the annual sales compensation plan review and future year recommendations.
  • Compensation work related to geographical expansion to new countries.
  • Conduct market studies and analysis to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and alignment with the company's compensation philosophy.
  • Participate in compensation design and review projects, including job architecture and salary structures, and other compensation-focused initiatives as they arise.
  • Make cohesive recommendations to drive process improvements to advance compensation workflows and program delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 6+ years of building compensation programs, in domestic and international markets.

- Experience with startup equity plans, sales compensation structure, and global compensation practices are strongly preferred.

- Data-driven leader with strong partnership and negotiation skills, can work independently and collaborate with other stakeholders.

- In-depth knowledge of compensation fundamentals (e.g., job matching and market pricing, equity practices and mechanics, cyclical programs, incentive program design, etc.)

- Proven ability to translate quantitative insights to non-quantitative audiences to effectively develop and present logical, convincing compensation observations supporting your perspective and company initiatives to leadership.
