Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical Assistance: Assist engineers in designing, developing, and testing new products and processes, providing hands-on support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Conduct tests and experiments, gather data, and analyze results to assess product performance and reliability.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and calibration of laboratory and production equipment, ensuring all tools and instruments are in optimal working condition.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, results, and engineering modifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing solutions and recommendations to improve product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project execution and compliance with specifications.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in engineering technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in engineering support or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or advanced materials environment.
  • Strong technical skills with experience in product testing, data analysis, and equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD software, data analysis software).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
