About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Robotic Product Specialist to join our team at Stryker. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for training and developing Stryker customers and employees to support MAKO business growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development
    • Design and deliver training programs for Stryker employees and regional customers on MAKO products.
    • Collaborate with regional training teams to ensure effective training and education programs.
  • Product Launch and Support
    • Launch new accounts across Porto Alegre, Brazil.
    • Serve as a MAKO clinical expert and provide product clinical support and guidance to customers.
  • Sales and Marketing
    • Actively sell the clinical benefits of the products to key surgeons and Theatre staff at Stryker accounts.
    • Support regional sales and marketing efforts through the delivery of road-show product demonstrations and participation in local and regional marketing and clinical conferences.
  • Administrative and Technical
    • Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in conjunction with the company's Robotic Arm.
    • Develop and deliver training and education programs.
    • Collaborate with regional training teams in communications and negotiations with government and professional bodies to ensure the accreditation of courses as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Technical degree and/or bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Surgical Instrumentalist, or other Healthcare related area.
    • Previous experience in the hospital and surgical environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Fluency in English is required.
    • Previous experience working with robotic surgery is a plus.
    • Demonstrated aptitude in technical skills and technology systems and administrative procedures.
  • Availability and Travel
    • Able to travel up to 70% of the time.
