We are seeking a skilled Global Natural Ingredients Development Professional to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. in Brazil.
About the Role
This is a highly challenging and rewarding opportunity to drive business growth and profitability through strategic development of natural ingredients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for R&D natural ingredients from Brazilian flora, targeting key markets within Brazil.
- Collaborate with local IFF Fine Fragrance teams to coordinate commercial actions for the development of new natural ingredients.
- Implement business development plans for naturals ingredients, aiming to achieve growth and financial objectives.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with two strategic clients and local suppliers/partners, ensuring alignment with local teams.
- Negotiate business deals and contracts, securing the best terms for the company.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business strategies.
- Develop quotes and proposals tailored to client needs, setting goals for business growth and ensuring objectives are met.
- Train personnel and support team members in developing their understanding of natural ingredients.
- Support the local ingredients team as needed, contributing to the success of the project.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, preferably in the Brazilian market.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish and/or French is an asset.
- A proven track record of successful sales and contract negotiations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in digital advertising or marketing sectors is highly desirable.
Estimated Salary: R$150,000 - R$200,000 per year
