Job Title: Manager, Sales
- We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive growth and innovation within our Microbiology Division.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies, as well as motivating and developing sales teams to achieve desired results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow profitable sales in the Pharma market.
- Motivate and develop the sales team to consistently achieve desired results.
- Understand customer requirements, opportunities, and competition in the Pharma market.
- Identify and implement new distributor opportunities to expand brand awareness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage service, supply chain, and budgetary requirements.
- Work closely with marketing to increase MBD market awareness.
- Prepare sales forecasts, conduct trend analysis, and drive achievement.
- Maintain effective relationships with customer departments.
- Meet annual sales and gross margin targets.
- Identify new key accounts and manage key opinion leaders.
- Keep account receivables under control.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Submit required reports and manage distributor accounts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or similar field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel (50-75%).
- High proficiency in Excel.
- Proficient in English, both oral and written.
- Full and current driving license.
Preferred qualifications:
- Proven consistency, precision, and listening skills.
- Desire to continuously improve and take on new responsibilities.
- Ability to manage demanding and stressful situations.
- Previous experience in a life sciences company.
Experience:
- 8+ years of Sales Management experience, with at least 3 years in the Pharma industry.
- Experience in strategic change management and knowledge management.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
- Proven ability to operate independently with initiative and good business judgment.
Entrepreneurial approach. High responsibility and accountability. Ability to handle complex and challenging work. Willingness to frequent change and comfortable in a matrix management environment.
