Leadership and Business Development Director

The Leadership and Business Development Director is responsible for spearheading business growth by leading a team to pursue project opportunities in various market sectors.

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and expansion across the organization.
  • Oversee business activities from opportunity development to securing contracts, ensuring seamless operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain and support customer relationships by regularly assessing satisfaction with our project performance, and assisting in securing new business, developing new customers, and other marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with executives in corporate and geographic areas to pursue global growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the development, expansion, and optimization of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, project management, and construction activities to ensure operational excellence.
  • Oversee project activities and provide technical and managerial support to ensure company goals on safety, quality, and finance are met.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders to drive business success.
  • Collaborate with divisional executives and managing directors to plan, set up, adjust, and track resource utilization to deliver projects on time and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Interface with customers to promote professionalism and excellence.
Personnel Management and Organization Development
  • Structure, recruit, and manage teams, developing and motivating employees to excel.
  • Review existing processes, structures, and resources, providing recommendations to tackle challenges arising from a dynamic business environment.
  • Provide daily guidance and direction to department managers, complete annual reviews, and communicate job expectations.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees, initiate and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct activities in a safe, respectful, and healthy manner, adhering to established safety and company requirements.

This position requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and leadership skills to drive business growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving business growth in a one-to-three-year time frame and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
