Job Opportunity: Environmental Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate environmental licensing processes for exploration and production activities, including coordination with technical support teams;
  • Assist management in executing internal processes related to environmental affairs, licensing, and fluid and sand management;
  • Manage external documentation related to environmental affairs, licensing, and conditionalities;
  • Support the preparation and issuance of reports, bulletins, and documents related to environmental affairs and licensing;
  • Coordinate the preparation of letters, documents, and meetings with IBAMA and external organizations;
  • Monitor environmental process milestones and deadlines;
  • Support the monitoring of licenses for other operators and participate in meetings with partners;
  • Organize internal and external environmental monitoring meetings with environmental agencies;
  • Support the development and monitoring of environmental responsibility matrices for projects;
  • Be prepared for embargoes and inspections on platforms, rigs, and ships serving PETROBRAS;
  • Participate in meetings, inspections, and public hearings outside PETROBRAS or within company facilities in Brazil;
  • Provide technical support and participate in organizational structures responding to simulated and real events involving oil spills at sea;
  • Perform other tasks related to the position not specified in this document according to legislation and the professional category's code of ethics;
  • Execute fiscalization of contracts and services;

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in environmental licensing for Oil & Gas;
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project software packages;
  • Graduation in Geography, with registered diploma or certificate provided by recognized institutions;
  • Regular registration with the relevant agency overseeing the exercise of the profession;
  • Postgraduate degree in Geology or Marine Geophysics;
  • Intermediate level English proficiency;
  • Other requirements may be necessary.
