IT Procurement Specialist

The backbone of our business is Corporate IT, which enables us to develop a competitive advantage by defining technology objectives, assessing solution options, and devising technical solutions that help us achieve both strategic goals and meet operational requirements.

As a part of our team, you will help deliver seamless IT experiences and support to internal employees by providing responsive helpdesk service, stable networks, and reliable IT systems.

As an IT procurement specialist at Corporate IT, you will be responsible for procuring high-quality and cost-efficient IT products to support various business units. You will serve as the primary interface and process owner responsible for managing suppliers and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow and enforce company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, and product range.
  • Research and evaluate prospective suppliers.
  • Sourcing, negotiating, and establishing purchases for IT goods and services.
  • Collaborate with the IT technical team and HQ procurement team to propose good solutions from a commercial perspective and ensure high-quality products/supplies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial relationship build-up and procurement techniques/process.
  • Experience in negotiations and networking.
  • Strong analytical skills, accurate attention to details.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Good resource of supplier solutions is an added advantage.
  • Work experience in IT Suppliers/IT industry is an added advantage.
  • Initiative, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn in a fluid and fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all levels and with HQ Procurement team.
