The Amazon AWS Services Brazil Ltd. Professional Services division is in search of Customer Practice Managers (CPMs) to oversee and/or assist major client initiatives during the solution and pursuit phases, formulate a long-term Professional Services strategy, and execute that strategy with clients.

The CPM serves as a trusted consultant for our clients, responsible for all facets of business development, deal structuring, support, and closure within those accounts.

AWS Professional Services engages in a diverse array of projects with clients and partners, drawing on collective expertise from the extensive AWS customer network. We are committed to delivering successful results for our clients.

Our team works collaboratively across the entire AWS organization to ensure access to product and service teams, delivering the appropriate solution at the right moment, and driving feature innovation based on client requirements.

  • Foster client relationships - collaborate with AWS sales and partner teams to build strong connections with clients and partners, expand business, and enhance AWS adoption in a designated geographic area and/or for specific clients.
  • Think strategically - evaluate client market conditions, organizational readiness, and executive sponsor engagement to encourage discussions leading to broader strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Inspire and envision possibilities for clients.
  • Identify and cultivate specific opportunities and corresponding business cases.
  • Shape deals, including estimations and pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements.
  • Propel cloud transformation by developing long-term Cloud Strategies, pinpointing opportunities, and managing issues and risks.
  • Support the commercial relationship by planning and executing a project portfolio, overseeing budgets and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client executives, nurturing deep and trustworthy relationships.
  • Educate clients on AWS services and articulate their business value.
  • Advocate for clients by coordinating with AWS engineering teams to relay partner and enterprise client feedback for AWS technology roadmaps.
  • Supervise project delivery within the account, ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop client strategy within the framework of the Professional Services organization.
  • Establish strategic alignment with all teams engaging with the client.
  • Generate and manage opportunity pipelines.
  • Effectively manage opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal resources from ProServe to align with the overarching strategy.
  • Create compelling business cases and closing strategies.
  • Build rapport and trust with clients.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in technical specialization, design, and architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
  • 7+ years of consulting, design, and implementation experience with serverless distributed solutions.
  • 5+ years of software development experience using object-oriented programming languages.
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks, and operating systems.
  • 7+ years of experience in customer-facing, complex, large-scale project management.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in consulting, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
