Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing collections on outstanding invoices and accounts to ensure timely payment.

As the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, you will work closely with internal sales/support teams to resolve issues promptly. You will also research and coordinate billing adjustments and credits to optimize cash flow.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze accounts receivable and collection data to identify trends and improve cash collections
  • Responsible for collections of aged receivables for commercial customers
  • Communicate with customers regarding status of over-aged invoices
  • Collaborate with analysts, operations, and customers to ensure payments are made within terms
  • Address diverse and varied problems
  • Drive continuous improvements in efficiency, process, and accuracy of operations
  • Interact with customers daily to obtain payment support
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of Accounts Receivable and Collections and/or Billing experience
  • Strong understanding of standard accounting concepts and procedures
  • Oracle or ERP experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office and technology applications experience
  • Strong ethical values
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to process improvements
