Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Global Selling expansion in Brazil, including identifying roadblocks for merchants and leveraging product and program teams to solve these challenges.
- Create and execute a new seller lead generation strategy for all marketplace categories, including new lead sources.
- Develop a prioritization mechanism for both targeted and massive account recruitment.
- Develop hunting strategies based on selection opportunities.
- Manage a team of sales, account development, and program management professionals.
- Track activity and sales discipline by developing a sales management process.
- Hire and develop top sales talent, attracting, hiring, and retaining the best candidates.
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of relevant senior-level experience in retail, sales, operations, and/or business management/consulting with a proven history of delivering results.
- Superior analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
- 5+ years of experience developing and driving strategies.
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating polished communication skills – speaking, writing, presenting, and negotiating.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Master's degree (MBA) from a top-tier business school (4-5 years of post-MBA experience preferred).
- Experience in sales management and developing teams.
- Excellent business judgment with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes.
- A willingness to roll up sleeves to get it done.
- Ability to think and lead in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with 'hands-on' management of tasks and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
