Lead Statistical Programmer

The Lead Statistical Programmer oversees the statistical programming activities for one or more compounds/indications or a therapeutic area. This role leads a team of statistical programmers in the research and development of new pharmaceutical products.

This leadership position ensures timely deliverables, adheres to quality processes, and maintains consistency within projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and overseeing the development of SAS programs for ADaM data sets following CDISC standards.
  • Creating documentation for regulatory filings, including reviewer guides and data definition documents.
  • Leading the development of standard SAS Macros and operating procedures.
  • Managing and mentoring assigned staff, as well as participating in recruitment and selection processes.

Required qualifications include a Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field with 9+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 11+ years of experience. Additionally, this position requires at least 2 years of experience leading a team of statistical programmers and in-depth understanding of SAS programming concepts and CDISC standards.
