We are seeking a results-driven Area Manager to oversee Outbound operations, ensuring seamless collection, packaging, and shipping in our distribution center. As a leader of 50-100 associates across multiple shifts, you will need to strike a balance between strategic thinking, operational execution, and people leadership.

This role operates in a dynamic environment with varying temperatures depending on the season and location. Must be available to accommodate flexible layover needs, including night shifts and weekend rotations.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of 50-100 associates across multiple shifts.\
  • Drive operational excellence through management of KPIs, including productivity, quality, and safety metrics.\
  • Implement and maintain standardized work processes to ensure consistent performance.\
  • Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate business updates to the team.\
  • Manage workforce planning and staffing to meet business demands.\
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.\
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and workplace standards.\
  • Train and develop first-level associates and supervisors.\
  • Collaborate with support teams (HR, Safety, Training) to drive continuous improvement.\
  • Manage performance through data analysis and actionable insights.\
  • Labor monitoring and management.\
  • Monitor Idle Time (TOT).\
  • Track productivity rates.\
  • Manage break times.\
  • Address frequency/attendance issues.\
  • Monitoring of adherence to processes.\
  • Quality audits.\
  • Safety hikes.\
  • 5S compliance checks.\
