Family Business Advisor

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Family Business Advisor. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in helping family businesses thrive through strategic growth, leadership development, and improved family alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult and coach family business leaders on strategy, growth, profit, succession, governance, and team development.

  • Collaborate with fellow advisors to design and implement solutions aligned with our expertise.

  • Facilitate planning sessions and workshops with ownership groups, leadership teams, and family members – both virtually and in person.

  • Interpret financials and build models to guide clients toward improved profitability, valuation, and capital allocation.

  • Lead a portfolio of active client engagements, balancing relationship-building with strategic insight and clear deliverables.

  • Create content (e.g., articles, presentations, webinars) that strengthens our position in the market.

  • Conduct marketing workshops with partners and at industry events.

  • Leverage your network to support business development through referrals and introductions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in business consulting, corporate strategy, or executive-level leadership.

  • Proven ability to advise business owners and C-suite leaders on complex, high-stakes decisions.

  • Strong financial and strategic acumen – able to diagnose problems and uncover hidden opportunities.

  • Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills, especially in family or multi-stakeholder environments.

  • A collaborative, growth mindset and genuine interest in long-term client relationships.
