Job Overview

The Local Service Transition Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless transitions of local/regional scale projects to Operations. Collaborating with the Global Service Transition consultant and other stakeholders, this position guarantees that projects are completed within defined scope, quality, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate local workshops to ensure clients understand the scope of services as per global contract, service delivery model, and systems landscape.
  • Provide essential guidance on implementation methodology, including phases and deliverables.
  • Orient BAU operational teams in the project.
  • Prepare Payroll Calendar and Trusted Source List.
  • Ensure needed access for client and Operations team members.
  • Implement Local Service delivery tools, such as case management tool, call center, SLA reporting tool, etc.
  • Coordinate and lead client and BAU Operations trainings to guarantee readiness for go live.
  • Coordinate and lead testing phases to confirm all in-scope systems function correctly and are integrated as expected and configured according to specifications agreed upon in the contract.
  • Direct and plan work objectives and resource models for transition to Operations activities.
  • Identify and communicate project risks.
  • Monitor delivery of the transition within agreed scope, quality, time, and budget.
  • Plan the hypercare period.
  • Main goal: successful transition from Project to BAU services for client and Operations teams.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience in HR and Payroll services delivery/operations.
  • Payroll experience.
  • Cross-functional coordination expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills with a history of customer-facing liaison roles.
  • Good English and Spanish language proficiency written and verbal (additional languages an asset).
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage large and multiple projects.
  • Proficient computer skills – Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • This role will involve local country and international travel and time away from home.
  • Experience working closely with operational teams.
  • Able to facilitate process/service workshops with multiple customer contacts.
  • Service testing experience – System Integration Test, Scenario Based Test, Service Rehearsal, and Parallel Runs.
  • Knowledge transfer and service transitions expertise.
