Development Fundraiser Role

As a pivotal member of our development team, the Development Fundraiser will play a key role in planning and executing fundraising initiatives to support our mission and strategic goals.

This individual will be responsible for building relationships with donors, sponsors, alumni, and community partners to cultivate a culture of giving and increase community engagement.

  • Fundraising Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing an annual fundraising plan to meet our financial and development objectives.
  • Campaigns & Events: Organize and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives, such as capital campaigns, online giving drives, auction evenings, and alumni engagement events.
  • Donor Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential and current donors, sponsors, and partners. Develop and implement donor recognition programs.
  • Research, identify, and apply for grants and sponsorship opportunities that align with our mission.
  • Alumni Engagement: Work with alumni to foster lifelong connections to our organization and to encourage giving.
  • Marketing & Communications: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling fundraising content, including newsletters, social media posts, and donor appeals.
  • Reporting & Data Management: Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, donor contributions, and financial reports. Provide regular updates on fundraising progress to leadership.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • English fluency is essential for this position, as communication with international stakeholders will be a core part of the role.
  • Between 1 and 3 years of experience.
