Life Insurance Consulting Director for Revenue Growth

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of life and annuity product design, pricing, distribution, financial modeling, asset liability management, regulatory developments, and financial risk.
We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Director to join our team in Bermuda. The successful candidate will drive account development, identify areas for revenue growth, and lead high-performing client delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior sellers to identify new business opportunities and drive account proposals.
- Contribute to the growth of WTW's Bermuda presence through frequent interaction with local clients, active participation in industry-led events, and following closely on regulatory updates.
- Lead components of large-scale projects or manage smaller projects to achieve engagement and budget objectives.
- Build and strengthen industry relationships by serving as a trusted advisor, delivering strategic insights and tailored solutions to clients.
- Oversee and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality work product which conforms with WTW Excellence standards.
- Share expertise and strategic insights with colleagues to drive team growth and contribute to overall business development.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior staff, supporting their professional development and career advancement.
- Conduct thorough peer reviews ensuring high-quality work product which conforms with WTW Excellence standards.
- Lead client communications through clear and impactful written and verbal channels, addressing concerns and managing expectations effectively.
- Contribute to the development of intellectual capital to strengthen our service offerings through research, publication of articles, participation in industry events and WTW webinars, podcasts, etc.
This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in actuarial science, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a non-contributory pension plan.
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have at least 10 years of experience in an actuarial role at a life insurance company, consulting firm, or financial services organization. You should also have familiarity with regulatory capital regimes, and experience working in Bermuda is a plus.
