Job Title: Commercial Planning Manager

This is a dynamic role within the commercial planning team where you will be responsible for supporting demand forecasting and collaborating with cross-functional teams to contribute to a robust, consensus-based demand plan.

You will apply your business acumen, analytical mindset, and organizational skills to help scale a growing regional business. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will support key planning activities and offer visibility into strategic decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and coach a regional commercial planning team, fostering collaboration, development, and performance excellence.

  2. Contribute to the development and execution of short- and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and promotional inputs.

  3. Support the S&OP process by working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.

  4. Act as a liaison between regional sales teams, marketing, and operations to maintain coordinated and well-informed demand plans.

  5. Assist in building the yearly budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly flash sales plans and follow their performance, reporting, and explain variances.

  6. Support executive-level reporting and presentations with accurate and insightful forecasting data.

  7. Engage with channel teams to collaborate on forecasting and obtain current and accurate information for demand forecasts.

  8. Monitor assumptions, risks, and opportunities impacting the demand plan, and communicate implications as needed.

  9. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate results.

  10. Coordinate with Global and Americas planning teams to communicate market requirements and updates.

  11. Support Sales, MKT, and Head of Sales on ad-hoc analysis to run the business. Manage day-to-day sales and planning operations.

  12. Improve data quality by ongoing validation & follow-up of sell-out and sell-through.

  13. Understand new product introduction roadmaps to manage product transitions.

Requirements:
  1. 8+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, or Sales Planning.

  2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related field.

  3. Past experience managing and developing a team while delivering strong business outcomes.

  4. Solid understanding of forecasting processes, S&OP, and commercial planning.

  5. Familiarity with planning tools such as SAP/IBP.

  6. Highly analytical, data-driven decision maker with strong organizational and prioritization skills.

  7. Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly and effectively.

  8. Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.

  9. Enthusiastic and confident team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to connect and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

  10. Clear and concise written skills, ability to concept, write, and develop persuasive, organized presentations.

  11. High level of organization and flexibility to deal with urgent requests.

  12. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

  13. Bilingual in English is a must (Spanish is a plus).
