Our institution seeks an experienced fundraising leader as Assistant Vice President, Colleges and Initiatives to advance our mission by creating knowledge, fostering academic excellence, and developing leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee fundraising programs for various colleges and initiatives, driving strategic growth and development.
  • Lead and partner with teams to engage and solicit prospects, maximizing philanthropy and meeting strategic objectives, including educational innovation, sponsored research, and corporate partnerships.
  • Develop, execute, and evaluate annual plans to maximize donor philanthropy, sponsored research, and other engagement initiatives, securing major gifts and developing long-term philanthropic partnerships.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's Degree preferred for advanced leadership roles.
  • Eight or more years of related work experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of success in cultivating, soliciting, and closing six and seven-figure gifts.
  • Proven leadership and strategic thinking abilities in complex fundraising environments, with demonstrated success in securing major gifts and developing long-term philanthropic partnerships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align resources effectively and drive results-oriented initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups, promoting a culture of inclusivity and teamwork.
