Financial Operations Assistant

This role plays a vital part in the administration and smooth-running of global accounts operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all travel and expenses are billed correctly, addressing invoicing queries on an urgent basis, raising and distributing sales invoices, creating pro-forma sales invoices, processing inspector's invoices on IRIS and Sage, and performing credit control daily.
Additionally, the Financial Operations Assistant will provide weekly reporting and ensure that monthly deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing basic financial duties and administrative tasks including full compliance with local tax rules.
- Communicating with clients to obtain signed timesheets/work orders as needed.
- Liaising with coordinators to obtain correct information for invoicing.
- Ensuring accurate billing and timely payments.
- Addressing client queries and resolving issues promptly.
- Raising and distributing sales invoices, creating pro-forma sales invoices, and processing inspector's invoices.
- Performing daily credit control and providing weekly reports.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
