Sr. Regional Business Developer for Latin America Trade Finance
About the RoleThis senior role supports the Chief Representative in leading our office and represents us to supervisory authorities, government entities, local business partners, and financial institutions in the region.
We are focused on structured trade and export finance, as well as trade finance products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and promote our products and services across the region.
- Buid strong relationships with owners, working closely with relevant divisions at the Head Office and other branches to drive business growth.
- Monitor and analyze local financial markets, economic developments, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy and decision-making.
- Ensure full compliance with local laws, regulations, and financial practices while managing preparation and submission of required local reports.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in banking, with in-depth knowledge of conducting business in Latin America, particularly in trade finance products.
- Solid understanding of German banking systems, with emphasis on public-sector banks.
- Fluency in German, English, and Portuguese, with Spanish being a strong advantage.
- Established network among banks and authorities in Latin America.
