Job Title: Strategic Vendor Development Manager
\Amazon is seeking an experienced professional to play a key role in developing and maintaining strategic vendor relationships. As a dynamic vendor manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and negotiating terms with top vendors.
\Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Vendor Management: You will work closely with global vendors to improve terms, drive product category sales, and increase convenience and speed to Amazon's flywheel.\
- Negotiation and Partnership Development: As the owner of vendor relationships, you will focus on building long-term partnerships with top vendors to grow sales and product selection.\
- Business Insights: You will rely on specialized teams for customer and category insights, working with and influencing other teams to address category-specific customer needs.\
- Team Collaboration: Acting as a business owner, you will represent customer and business needs in interactions with central teams, projects, and initiatives.\
- Pricing and Promotions: You will manage inputs by driving selection, securing competitive prices, and increasing convenience and speed to accelerate Amazon's flywheel.\
- Inventory Management: You should have experience with vendor negotiations, pricing, promotions, or inventory management.\
- Vendor Performance: You are responsible for auditing performance, improving terms and cost structures through negotiation, and developing long-term partnerships to grow sales and product selection.\
- Leadership: Team management experience is essential.\
- Key Qualifications: Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to analyze and communicate complex terms and margin structures, and work well across teams including Retail, Finance, and Inventory Management.\
