We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Chargeback Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in minimizing losses and maximizing revenue for our customers.

About the Role:

As a Chargeback Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough research and investigations to recover funds and mitigate chargeback risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the team to achieve departmental goals
  • Conduct high-quality research and analysis on credit card chargebacks to identify criminal fraud or buyer abuse
  • Review and process merchant reimbursement requests according to our coverage policies
  • Minimize potential losses by making informed decisions on chargeback cases and identifying friendly fraud cases
  • Gather evidence from various data sources to prove transaction validity
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize processes and scale operations
Requirements:
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in chargeback analysis and fraud prevention in Brazil or North America and EMEA markets
  • Knowledge of card networks' regulations (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover)
  • Strong problem-solving, change management, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and strong research skills
  • High level of professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
