About the Role:
As a field-based, direct sales professional, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and driving growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new products and services. You will consult with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective strategy that maximizes value delivered by Gartner's offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage account relationships to achieve increased customer satisfaction and retention
- Meet quota responsibility for contract value within assigned territories of major client accounts
- Master and consistently execute Gartner's sales methodology
- Develop and execute account plans and territory management strategies
- Maintain forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitive knowledge
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or consultative environment)
- Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations
- Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process
- Bachelor's or master's degree
