Job Opportunity: Admin Team Leader

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent administrative skills? We are seeking a highly motivated Admin Team Leader to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all administrative functions in a store, in accordance with established standards and procedures.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing, controlling, and administering all time-sensitive tasks related to daily banking, price changes, staff scheduling, and employment contracts.
  • Counting and recording money received and/or paid out and balancing against cash register sales records.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely daily banking and reconciliations.
  • Daily reporting of discrepancies, shortages, and overs, price overrides, refunds, and exchanges to Store Manager for authorization.

Requirements include:

  • A Matric Certificate is required.
  • Own or reliable transport to work is essential to be able to work shifts.
  • A minimum of one year administration experience within a retail environment is preferred.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking any other relevant duties requested by Senior Management.
  • Undertaking all mandatory and service training as required.
  • Maintaining the strict confidentiality of all information.
  • Taking responsibility and accountability for being up to date with current SOP's.
