We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Deputy Project Manager. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in overseeing and executing a portfolio of camp management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in leading the execution of services, including camp management, operation, maintenance, laundry services, pest control, and catering services.
  • Ensure all services are delivered to the highest standard and in accordance with client requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact in the Project Manager's absence, ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of a skilled team of managers and supervisors.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and provide ongoing support and guidance to staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans to enhance team performance.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication lines with clients, local authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with focal points and supervisory structures to streamline operations and ensure cohesive service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
  • Provide regular comprehensive reports to clients and senior management, including updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure the effective utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Ensure all necessary safety protocols are in place and adhered to by all team members.
Required Qualifications
  • University degree in management, business administration, contract administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, contract management, or camp management services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse teams in a challenging environment. Proven experience in managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
