Job Opportunity: Data Governance Manager

We seek a skilled professional to lead our data governance initiatives, ensuring the accuracy and security of our people analytics data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance principles and experience in developing comprehensive frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a data governance framework for people analytics, including policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure data integrity by establishing and enforcing data quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure consistency across systems.
  • Lead data governance initiatives, including data cataloging, access models, and standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to data stewards and owners in implementing data governance practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, Business Psychology, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related role preferably within the HR or people analytics domain.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and technologies such as SQL and data governance platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with ambiguity and independence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with HR systems and data such as Workday or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
