Clinical Specialist Role

Seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to promote commercially approved products through procedure coverage, patient selection, and protocol adherence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Ongoing Clinical Support: Including candidacy criteria, procedure support, post-procedure follow-up, difficult case management, PI and IFU adherence, and ongoing education.
  • Serve as Primary Resource: For clinical support in troubleshooting, mapping, and patient follow-up for company products.
  • Ensure Timely Documentation: Collection and reporting of all required medical documentation pertaining to procedural device operation using corporate issued tracking procedures.
  • Manage Inventory: Follow company and divisional guidelines for managing commercial inventory and investigational product inventory.
  • Respond to Customer Needs: Developing feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
  • Foster Relationships: With hospital, lab, and office personnel to facilitate future sales.
  • Educate Customers: On the merits and proper clinical usage of company products via presentations and demonstrations.
  • Present Competitive Information: Recognize opportunities to present competitive information to support sales activities in the region.
  • Mentor Field Personnel: Assist or act as Field Mentor when asked in the training and educational needs of incoming field personnel.
  • Evaluate and Educate HCPs: Evaluate, educate, and hold HCPs accountable on the correct use of BSC/Varithena products in the CVI disease state.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferably in a health field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device industry as a clinical specialist or equivalent.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • Experience in assisting a physician with vein procedures.
  • Able to work independently and externally to the company for the majority of the time.
  • Effective communication skills to share site-related information, including product performance for potential product complaints, planning and execution of meetings and presentations.
