Lodge Services Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Mt. Bachelor.

The Lodge Services Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all daily activities related to custodial functions, including basic operations, purchasing supplies and equipment, trash removal, training, and management of staff.

  • Represent the company positively by supporting the mission and complying with guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning of all lodges and public spaces on the mountain, leading by example and assisting with on-mountain cleaning. They will also develop daily cleaning schedules and assign leads to projects.

  • Hire, train, schedule, counsel, and terminate all Lodge Services staff.
  • Assist other departments as needed.

Job Scope:

  • Responsible for the cleanliness of Mt. Bachelor and its properties.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and oversee all Lodge Services Staff.
  • Maintain and inventory supplies & equipment.
  • Manage all garbage & recycling on and off the Mountain.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Number of employees supervised: Up to 26 team members.
  • Scheduling and assigning work: Monthly, Weekly, & Daily.
  • Training: Annual, Seasonal, and Daily Safety topics.
  • Salary Actions: Yes, through proper approval channels.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Counseling statements and verbal warnings.
  • Performance Reviews: Mid-Season and Year-End.
  • Hiring/Termination: Yes.
