About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mine Planning Engineer to support our customers with high-quality pre-sales and support activity. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in delivering solutions using open-pit mine planning software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales teams for technical product demonstrations, trade shows, and promotional events
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Design strategic technical demonstrations for customers focusing on solution and value delivery
- Provide clients with telephone, email, and face-to-face support
- Offer training to current and new software users
- Communicate with the product development team and software users during the software design cycle
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have a background in operational mining roles or experience working in mining technology companies. Key qualifications include:
- A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
- 7-10 years of experience with Open Pit mining
- 5-7 years of experience with mine planning and scheduling
- Experience with mine planning software
- Professional fluency in English and native fluency in Portuguese language skills
