The role requires a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeper accountant to manage clients' financial records, close books, and maintain proper working papers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Month End Close: Closing client books within two to ten business days after month end
- Bookkeeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including categorizing expenses, reconciling bank accounts, and understanding financials
- Compliance: Ensuring clients stay up-to-date with regulatory filings, such as sales tax, payroll, and corporate requirements
- Reporting: Preparing weekly flash reports for clients
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a bookkeeping role
- 2+ years experience in an auditing role
- Solid understanding of US or Canadian GAAP
- CPA or CA certification (Argentina, US, Canada, England, etc)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
